Safety Month

Sanoh America celebrated National Safety Month in June 2023. The purpose of Safety Month is to continue to raise safety awareness by engaging our employees to be actively involved with safety through planned activities during the month of June.  The month consisted of weekly themes; Hazard hunting, Fire extinguisher overview, Ergonomics, Fire Emergency and Severe Weather Emergency. Each week there were daily safety topics related to the weekly themes that were distributed to the whole organization to be read at the start of shift meetings. Additionally, there were also competitions held during National Safety Month to further engage SanAm employees. There were plant competitions for Near Miss Identification.  There were coloring pages with safety pictures for employees to engage with their children and turn in to be displayed in the cafeteria. There was also a division wide Safety Slogan contest. Employees from each plant
could submit 1 safety slogan . There were prizes for 1 st , 2 nd and 3 rd place and the winning slogan will be placed onto banners to be distributed to each facility, signed by each employee in the facility and displayed.
